That Koch also donates to other causes does not impress me - they can afford to donate to all kinds of things. Most of which, like the hospital in the link above, repay the favor with public recognition.
The attempts to "reduce voter fraud" are transparent attempts to influence elections, because voter fraud is a make believe issue, with zero evidence to support it.
Evidence of voter suppression, which is what the Koch brothers are engaged in, is plentiful. The key fact is that they are deliberately misleading people, and when you can't be honest about what you're doing, you shouldn't be doing it.

To label the Kochs as personally "evil" for supporting their political causes is a bit of a stretch, but is typical of the demonization used by the Democrats. I believe Kentucky's presidential election vote totals were reported correctly as Obama carried only 4 of 120 counties in 2012. Seems about right. However, irregularities in our electoral process can be distressing, such as efforts to suppress the military vote.

In 2004, Kentucky reelected Bush by a 20 point margin over a white John Kerry. In 2008, McCain beat Obama by 16 points.
In 2012, it was a about a 22.5 margin for Romney.
