End of an Era--light bulb moment

A "mandate" is a dictators word for consensus. THEY believe it is better for us so they will force us to agree with with them, by what ever means they have available to them.
I'm going to miss 60W and 40W incandescent light bulbs almost as much as I miss 75W and 100W light bulbs, and leaded gasoline.
I haven't had an incandescent light bulb in my home since the first CFLs hit the market. Three-way incandescent light bulbs are actually exempted from the ban, but I've been using three-way CFLs for years, anyway.
Incidentally, if a surge in demand of three-way incandescents result in a doubling of the sales of those lights, they will lose their exemption. Same with 150W and 200W incandescents (popular in attics and garages).
