ELOG For Individuals

Anyone have any recommendations ? I would be purchasing this unit with my funds, so price is an object of concern .Rand McNally has a unit for around $300 bucks. Any opinions? One drawback of the Rand unit, is that apparently it is used in tandem with the Rand GPS.

I would think twice before going to an ELOG on my own. I would stay on paper,until carrier or government forced to do otherwise. Unless you are sure the device is FMCSA approved.

Does any one have any experience with the Truckers Tablet? Which is supposed to have ELOG software.

Found some information on the Truckers Report forum in the Electronic sub forum.
