Elite Expediting

Can anybody give me any info on Elite Expediting out of Windsor,Canada?Will be driving for an O/O who leases out to them,starting next week.I understand that the Canadian truckers bring the freight over to a Detroit warehouse and we pick it up there.Then take it wherever it goes.

As the story goes Elite AND thier client list was bought out by Dynamex ,Cambridge 3 years ago. The owner has started using the name again and going after old customers! Dynamex is presentingly taking this guy to court. If DX wins this you could find yourself unemployed. Ask your O/O about this to get the updated version. For all I know they might have settled it somehow.

I'd bet that 3 years was just enought time for a 'no compete' clause in the sale to expire.....

Nope Mike....he was doing this just after I started almost 2 years ago! We still get the odd Elite customer cuz DX keeps separate pro numbers from our own regular sequence. I think he was pulling a fast one using a Detroit terminal thinking he sold a Canadian company not realizing DX is a U.S. based company.
