Forum Tip Edit/Delete Post Time Limit

Previously the time limit on editing or deleting your own posts was 90 minutes. You can make a post, then get a load, and 2 hours down the road realize, "I should have said this or that in that post." Or you see a typo you want to correct. Whatever.

The time limit on editing and deleting posts is now 24 hours.

If you need a post to be edited or deleted after that time frame, ask a Moderator and they will determine if it is appropriate to do so.

The only exception to the time frame is in the Soapbox, where the time limit remains at 90 minutes. So, nothing's really changed in there.

Incidentally, in Private Conversations (PC), you can edit your messages for 10 minutes. Any edits will be resent and part of the conversation. If you are the Conversation Starter, you can always edit the Conversation (lock it to prevent any further replies, allow anyone in the Conversation to invite others, edit the title in you want to). The Edit Conversation link is at the top of the PC under the title.

If anyone thinks 10 minutes is not adequate, send me a PC on it.
