Looking for information from OWNERS who have a number of trucks on the road with hired drivers, NEED info on how they pay, taxes, workmans comp. ect... anything you can help me with! Thanx in advance for any help.

I pay my driver 65% gross revenue. He buys the fuel. I pay tolls, oil, maint. Every now and then if there is profit I will share it with him. About $400-500 a quarter.

We pay our driver 30% of gross (which works out to about 48% of the truck pay). He pays fuel, tolls, & his cell phone. We maintain the truck and pay for the pager. We reimburse him for any oil, washer fluid, etc. he buys if he gives me the receipt. He drives one of our D units.
