Does Flatbed With A One on Truck Require A Log?

The owner of the Sprinter I drive is getting into Flatbed with a One Ton Truck, I'm thinking dually, and a Heavy Trailer.

We agree it will require a B Class License if the weight of the trailer is up to, but not over, 10,000lbs.
We agree it will require stopping at Weigh Stations.

But where we don't agree is, I believe that it will require a Log (Electronic/Paper), he does not.
Which of us is right?

anything over 10k requires log book don't it? also med card. that 10000 lb trailer is the gvwr. what the trailer is rated for at max capacity.not just whatever he wants to tag it for. my 36' has an empty weight over 10000 has a gvwr of 26k I have to have a class A to run it. but to answer the question as you asked. You are correct
