D/C expects the Chrysler group to lose $1.6 billion this year . They say the are not ruling out selling Chrysler off . I wonder how that would affect the Sprinter .

WOw, i dont see this. Daimler ruined chrysler and took all of their rainy day fund to save their arses when ther merger first happened. I dont see how chrysler is losing any money. Oh well get the americans back in that company and build it back up to where it was. And build the Challenger, the ME412 (thats better then the daimler supercar) and other greats.

Sorry me a big chrysler fan.

It wasn't a merger, it was a take over. Chrysler had a deceint market share and the upper management used this as a selling point. Daimler-Benz was sold a company that was heading for trouble and poised to lose market share. The funny thing is that they only people who benefitted by the takeover was the upper management of Chrysler they all walked away with MILLIONS.

I noticed that their product line under the German managment just plain sucks. They haven't come out with a change of models in a while and otuside of the specity cars and whipped up trucks, there is nothing that is too thrilling to their product line. Mercedes life cycle is a lot longer than any american car company.
