D unit specs

    Is anyone out there running a D unit with only a single drive axle but having both an APU and a LG? thanks in advance for any responses. csny42

    Yes. Many. Usually they are class 8 tractors with condo sleepers stretched out to accommodate a 22 ft box. From what I understand you can scale about 12,000 pounds on those units.

      Thanks Deville-but doesn't FECC require the truck to be able to scale 13000 lbs to be a D unit?
