Custom POI's for Garmin, Magellen and TomTom

I hope this is in the right place but if not I know the great mods here will move it

I was asked about where to get the POI files I used to warn of scales and figured if 1 person was interested maybe others would be too so rather than replying in a PM I decided to do it here. Hope you all dont mind

You will also find the loaders and info here as well.

I use Weigh stations and rest areas with 3 mile alerts
I also use Wal-mart/Sams Clubs (for shopping and for parking ) as well as the CatScales File for truckstops (top 5 and smaller ones that the garmin and others just do show on there own.)

These are all free and there is something for everyone.

Wow! What a great site!!! Thanks for sharing that link. Anyone using a small GPS that has the ability to update on the computer should put this link in your favorites. It has it all!!!

These files can be used in streets and trips as well you only have to make the first column as longitude and second as latitude (when you import the data you will understand that one)
