Well, getting a Chromecast today.

I'll report back after getting it set up.

Any words of advice?

Had one since summer. Works great and they're adding more channels frequently.
We also have Apple tv and a Roku 3.

Yup. For $35 (and I got 3 free months of Netflix), can't go wrong.

if you have any need to stream onto your tv..its the ticket..you control it with your phone/tablet/puter..pretty kewl...flawless operation for me...just need good wifi

Okay, very easy to install and set-up. It's great for sharing info on your chrome browser such as a web page, netflix and Youtube - however, if you want to share local files like videos, music or pictures - forget about it. 3 out 5 stars.

Agreed. It's devices like this that contribute to people having multiple gadgets. The world's HDMI slots are quickly filling up.
