Unbelievable! Here I am in Wendy's getting a baked potato in Walcott, Iowa, at the truckstop .. I hear, "Grandpa!" ..... there was my grandson Lane .... on his way to a band performance in Chicago!

Don't ask me what they play .. they call it Christian Metal ..... anyway, something I do not understand!

Was weird though .... in a nice way

It's really neat to run into someone you know out here who isn't an expediter, but to have it be family is extra kewl.

Last time I ran into someone on the road who wasn't an expediter my insurance premium went up 20 percent.

I had this happen to me in Ashland, Va back in 1995. I sat down to eat and was reading the USA Today and my breakfast came. I put my paper down and there was my father sitting down to eat Breakfast. It was the coolest thing to run into someone you know. I bet you had the same feeling I did Notanewbie. It was like wow, I bet that will never happen again.

Got a YouTube video or website for them? I wore out Christian metal tapes in the 80s...Bloodgood, White Cross, Barren Cross, some Stryper... It's not metal/rap hybrid, is it?

I'm guessing you listen to the more modern metal, which is a revolting, mindless, non-melodic hybrid of grunge, rap, and speed metal.

If the music, metal or not, was produced since the 1960's .... I'm not listening to much of it ... I can suffer some of the 70's stuff.

And most of my music choice is in the country genre ..... "Mighty Merle" forever!

On my xm ... if I stray, it is to Watercolors, with the easy listening jazz ...

Lol grunge no rap he double hockysticks no. Speed metal not really some of it has fast rifts n blast beats but not all. And the harder bands are balls of talent.

Not my type of music but having done sound gigs with a good number of metal bands in my younger days I would say they are fine. If I could understand the lyrics I imagine it is a good message. You should be proud.

Teeth like lions i knew thats who u were going to say when u said his mom said something with teeth n lions haha thats awesome ive heard them before through a friend who plays in a christianx band small world. Are on my i tunes too.
