Canada passed a law to require trucks to have speed restrictors. They will soon be enforcing the law. This means that you may have to add expensive equipment to your truck and that unless it is easily bypassed.... which would defeat the purpose... we will have a foreign government enforcing speed limits on US highways.
Some have speculated that one reason the Canadian government is doing this because the US government will soon require Americans to purchase a $90 passport (for all their children too) to see Niagra Falls from the Canadian side... which will kill tourism for Niagra Falls Canada... as well as other Canadian border towns.
