I been in the expediting business for 2 months now and my expenses are far more than they should most in diesel fuel. Now I own a new 2000 year 1 ton diesel van and need to sell. Anyone please advise the best way to get out of the expediting business without to much pain.

I'm sorry to hear of your quick exit from expediting. I think there is no way for you to avoid the financial sting with only two months of service.

Are you sure you have exit now? The longer you stay. The less of a sting you will have.

Seems the longer I stay more out of pocket expenses I'll have. The business so far is not profitable but I still must pay the truck etc seems longer I'm in the more in debt.

Four questions:

1. Who are you leased to?

2. Where do you live?

3. If you had a D-Unit, do you think things would be different? (better, higher paying loads, more loads, etc.)

Finally, 4., do you think your difficulties are more a factor of: you running a C-Unit (vice B- or D-), your lesee (available freight, leese terms, etc.), or the "O-O expediting business" as a whole?

If you can tough it out 'til mid FEB, things usually really pick up by then!

Wishing you the best...

Mr. M.
