alot of that depends on what type of deal you get from the owner. most likely will 60% fsc and you pay fuel and tolls. Some do 40% to driver and they for the fuel but it seems to be rare. plus what type of unit will you be running? there is some info that needs to be made avail. for anyone to give a good estimate i think.

A FedEx team in a large straight truck (D), with experience, should gross in the neighborhood of $120,000. As a leased driver to an owner, you'd typically get 60% of that, or about $72,000 + fuel surcharge monies of +/- $10-15,000. Out of your share, you'd pay for fuel and tolls.

the average team E unit truck at FCC makes $195,050 on 132,552 miles. The average single E unit truck makes 98,476 on 74,530 miles.

The other day you mentioned that your wife didn't drive. This will severly impact your revenue. If you are going to operate solo you may have a difficult time finding an owner who is willing to let you run his truck as a solo driver. You can expect to gross somwhere in the upper 60's to the low 70's,possibly a little more if you stay out for extended periods. Those nasty HOS rules really affect a solo driver.
