though my window wash was ready for 17 degrees cold, was solid , so stopped and pick up right stuff , took awhile to melt. Started out at 17 degrees and ended up in 48 degrees

Haha that happened to me a couple years ago. Got the van serviced at a Quick Lane in Arlington, TX on a Saturday; by the next day I was enroute to Fargo. The windshield washer fluid froze before I got out of Oklahoma

I buy the Prestone De Icer washing fluid at -30 it hasn't froze into a block yet....sometime in extreme conditions you just have to get out and do it manually....the good thing at those temps obviously there is no road slush...
