Does anyone have a list of brokers for expedited freight? We drive a cargo van and from time to time we get into an area where our agents don't get freight.
It would be nice to have a list of brokers for the expedited freight, even if it did not pay as well as our freight. If all it paid for was the gas, it is
better than nothing at all.

This subject pops up from time to time. I have yet to come across a board for "backhauls" for expedited freight. The closest is LTL and that pays cutrate, but if it will work, it pays the fuel to get back where the real rates are. We've used Nettrans http://support.nettrans.com/, the Internet Truckstop http://www.truckstop.com/ and afew others. The best are mentioned here and have a free trial period.
