I recently discovered the Airbnb app. This app has bnb listings all over the world! I've used it several times and had great success. You can usually get a private room with TV for $35 a night. I like this option better than a $70 dirty motel room. Check it out.

Thank you for sharing the application name. Although the app is quite old and famous. Probably one of the best hos[itality based apps in the world. My sister went to France last year and found accommodation in a student dormitory via Airbnb. This is an amazing service started and surely helps us while travelling and enables us to find cheap accommodations. The prices are mostly affordable. However, I have also seen people misuse it by quoting high-prices or guests trying to steal house owners property.
