On the 3rd of Feb I Dead Head from Sparks NV to Lodi CA Yes I went over Donnar and Truckee and got 9mpg with the Tractor 48ft Trailer Im driving.
I stayed in the lower gears and kept my tack about 1475 Rpm I only ran 53MPH the whole trip.
The next day with a 20,000lbs load I drive 653 miles and averaged 8 miles a gallon back over Donnar and Truckee on 80.
That was right after a fresh PM was done on the Truck
On the Trip I back out to CA Fighting a head wind my Partner and I AV 7.2 MPG. that was running interstate 70 44 40 15 10.
Not bad for a 475 Cat twin turbo needles to say running 62 MPH has its advantages. Better fuel and stay outa that upper gear. which brings the turbos into doing what they are suppose to do.
