2016 Hino AC Leak

Got an AC Leak in a 2016 Hino 258 Wrecker. When I hooked up my recovery system, I was showing 10psi static. recovered 1oz of r134. I charged it with nitrogen (225psi static, system off truck off) hoping to find the leak. Havent been able to locate it with a spray bottle of soapy water. I am thinking about compressor or evap. Where do you find your typical AC leaks on the hino 258s?

Occasionally I find them in the evaporator. But they will leak from the typical places, too.

I generally use a sniffer but of course people have mixed results with those. If it's leaking enough from the evaporator a sniffer will detect it coming from the condensate drain.

Putting an evaporator in a Hino looks terrible but it's relatively easy.

Mine cools sometimes now when it gets really hot it stops cooling during the day but will cool in the morning and nights

There are many possible reasons for poor performance. Too many for me to type.

I suggest getting a diagnosis from your local a/c specialist.
