    Fat Fighting Snacks

You could make a chicken and hot pepper omelette in the morning for a nice fat fighting breakfast.

    My Battle of the Bulge

Nice job. Do you use little tricks like parking further away from stores to get extra walking in?

    Riding a bike

I found riding a bike is much more fun than walking for exercise. We were walking a few miles a day and it just seems to be harder on your joints. My third day riding a bike after almost 20 years and we did a little over 10 miles today. We have a nice trail that runs along a canal and through...

    Riding a bike

I was wondering if it was as simple as putting them in the front of the box or if there was another method that I wasn't thinking of.

    Nutrisystem D

You would also need to keep things frozen. I don't know if there has been a medical connection yet but there have been numerous issues with gallbladder problems for people on Nutrisystem. If you have a cooler maybe you could just get food from a grocery store and prepackage it for portion control.

    Getting exercise on the road

I tend to avoid walking in the giant urinal (aka parking lot) and like to find places to go. Most truck stops have fields or areas to walk around which I usually end up going to just because of the dogs.

EO Healthy Self Online Support Group

It sounds like a good idea. Sometimes just being able to "brag" a little about accomplishments or get a little support when we fall can make all of the difference.

    My Battle of the Bulge

Hopefully the spring time helps motivate you and gives you more energy as you enjoy the sun. I always notice a big change as winter ends and spring begins. Your Motivation and Willpower

My mom just did exactly that. She was going to be babysitting for a week while my brother and wife were away so she started working out before to make sure that she could keep up. I view addiction as a continued behavior that someone engages in even though they know it has a negative impact...

    Your Motivation and Willpower

I think the decision to workout is basically an attempt to end an addiction. Either the willpower or the addiction will end up being stronger and win the battle.

    Gluten Free

I think it's just that your body gets used to working from and digesting a certain fuel but throwing it a curve ball just confuses it. After being on low carb for awhile I drank a bunch of cranberry which left me feeling awful for 2-3 days.

    Any other former smokers here?

Having a health issue can be a strong reinforcement that people who quit just to quit or due to cost don't have. I quit after 9 years because the girl I was dating back then didn't like smoking, she is my wife today so I guess it worked out well. Sent from my SCH-I535 using EO Forums mobile app
