It's now 3, wind is howling. It's 72 in the house, wonderful fire in the wood stove.

It's now 6, dropping fast. Blowing like a sum witch dam out of the North. VERY strange wind direction for this area. I am burning a really hot fire in the wood stove tonight. It's a comfortable 70 in the house. It would not be as nice with these wind speeds and temps if we had our normal SW winds.

We could have never accomplished what we did in this business without this wonderful tool.

They are calling for a fresh inch today. The real story is the winds and temps. Right now it is 26 but temps will be dropping throughout the day, heading for -9 tonight with winds gusting to 35MPH. If anyone is headed this way later today, be careful, it is going to be dangerous later.

Most do it for the freedom that owning a business affords. Many don't survive. It is not an easy way to earn a living.

Every load we took in or out of a military/government installation was a classified load. All of them, but one, was classified "secret". One was classified "Top Secret", which was weird, since we only had a "secret" clearance. There was a lot that was not right about that load. It involved...

Every time we picked up a "military" load, we were required to produce our medical card, just as Team Caffee was. It is the norm on those loads. So was a security clearance.

The problems are not ONLY coming out of their mouths.......................... the more damaging "greenhouse gas" is coming from further south of there.

My wife and I used to "shrink" our medical card, make it the size of a business card, print it, laminate it, and carry it with us at all times. That "homemade" card was always accepted at shippers and with LEO's. We also had the original in the truck in our "office", just in case it was needed...
