Shavings in the fuel tank can be a concern. We had Espar install some on our tractors and had tow of them that had issues for to shavings. Now I will say Ray and Espar stood by the install and took care of it to make it right. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

Well simple math says.....carrier one buys the same coverage with one truck for $3000. Carrier two with 75 trucks buys the same coverage for $5000 per truck......common sense and the rules of risk wont keep those rates. Insurance works on the law of averages....the bigger the company the more...

They would easily be liable under their contract to the carrier. The carrier may say....don't worry we have a policy too. But those policies normally don't kick in until the owner operators policy has paid. So two insurance companies saying....claim denied.

We have found the DD13 and DD15 motors start much easier in the winter than what the series 60 or MBE motors did. Being Michigan based we had no problems last year even as bitter as it was.

All depends on the motor. at 700-800k without a rebuild it is a gamble. Might get 50k miles might get 250k or even more.
