Looks like some are looking at leaving Sylectus for a new product. Simply over run with poor quality carriers it seems to many. The future will be interesting as the new platform does not work with the multi carrier model.

What does the contract you signed with the broker state about timely deliveries and/or communications?

We have a good relationship with them as a carrier but I think that is more truckload. Can't speak much to them as an expediter or from the owner operator side.

Most on here aren't truckload guys. This forum is mostly all expedite drivers.

Kind of looks like a carrier now with air freight, flatbed and other offerings? Shows a couple of offices as well. Maybe they made the jump to a carrier and broker.

They are a customer similar to NLM. Active Aero is the air charter company, Active on Demand is a 3PL bid board system. I have never heard or seen them run their own trucks?

So Panther allowed you to be signed on with them and run freight for other carriers like LRT?

I would think this would be important for a lot of owner operators and carriers.

Correct. It is legal. This will just better reflect what is truly out there for vehicles.

As we watch these multi carriers close their doors, new ones are appearing just as fast. Supply and demand will remain unchanged. Relatively cheap and easy to get into business this way, and cheap and easy to get out of business this way.

A number of owners including myself pushed for this change. Hopefully better for everyone involved.

Sylectus has agreed to make that change by the vin number. Not sure how long till this modification goes into production. The sooner the better.
