    Idle

once again I've searched the posts and can't quite come up with the answers I was looking for. Maybe I'm typing in the wrong word(s). What I would like to know is about idling a sprinter. I've read posts about people using a generator to run the A/C. Is this to cut down on the wear and tear on...

    Sprinter life expectancy

That's what I'm asking sprinter owners for cost per mile for maintenance

    Sprinter life expectancy

I totally understand maintenance cost vary year to year but if you take an over all maintenance cost over the period of the expectancy of the vehicle you have a better understanding of how much you can expect to spend per mile. Thanks. Jeff

    Sprinter life expectancy

I'm just a newbie here.and I'm just trying to make an educated descion before I throw a career away that once done I cannot go back. I'm not looking to start some kind of internet arguement. I drove tractor trailer for 10 years as far as oil changes from what I've read the mileage between is way...

    Sprinter life expectancy

Thanks NorthernBill, thats definitely a number to be crunched. The one thing that remains the same in the transportation industry every thing boils down to per mile. From point A to point B is X amount of miles. The vehicle gets X amount of MPG,The oil has to be changed at X miles, and so on and...

    Sprinter life expectancy

Still busy doing my research, and I've searched allot of posts but I haven't been able to find out what kind of mileage you can get out of a Sprinter. I realize maintenance is the key,but until today from a post of OVM I was thinking around 300,000. So if I can expect more than 300,000 that helps...

For my teammate and I we would need at least 300.00 a week for our personal (base) expenses, property taxes, utilities, personal vehicle insurance

What I tried to do was high ball the expenses and low ball the earnings and using Turtles 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 theory that is where I came up with the 3,000 mile figure. The reason I have Sprinter in my head is because my teammate doesn't have her cdl license and finding a used Sprinter setup for our...

Greetings all, I've been reading alot of posts for the past week or two,and would like to thank all of you for your very helpful information. Expediting is something that I've been thinking about doing for over ten years. I drove tractor-trailer for ten years, but haven't since September of...
