    under the hood air compressor

I take it your Hino has hydraulic brakes? I used to have a Hino that had hydraulic brakes and if I remember right, you could add the compressor to where it would be if the truck had air brakes. Its driven by the timing gears and is by where the pump is for the power steering/brakes. Im sure one...

2021 MB Sprinter 2.0 gas or diesel

If it uses the zf 9 speed there is no dipstick or tube, on the back of the transmission there is a 6mm hex plug that you remove and stick a special tool in to measure the fluid level and then use a chart along with the transmission temperature to make sure the level is correct. Or at least that...

    Thinking about buying a Cabover

The small linen company I work for uses the Isuzu NPRs, we lease them from Ryder with the full service leases so they are responsible for all service/maintenance. There have been emissions problems with the diesels, but nothing that I would say are bad, most of the time the engine derates, it...

    Diesel brothers busted!!!!

Well, I I did have to vote on the emissions laws, I would have voted yes, so there is that.... And yes the CARB is full of political appointees who have probably forgotten more about pollution that you, me and everyone else on the forums combined will ever know. Hopefully the person with the...

    Diesel brothers busted!!!!

Yes, im ok with there being no emissions standards for off road vehicles, and if they built a project that was never meant to drive on public roads then its fine, its not going to be driven enough to make a big difference when it comes to pollution. It makes me glad because they are breaking...

    Diesel brothers busted!!!!

Im glad to see this is happening, they knew what they were doing was wrong but did it anyway. They have some really nice work, but for anything that is being driven on our roads, it must remain emissions compliant, and now they are going to pay the price...

Buying used PM with 330k miles?

I tried this once when I was 18, on a Ford Mustang that I could not get a title for. I was a little relieved when the judge cracked a joke about it.... thankfully I didn’t get any jail time. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

Permits to drive through newyork? HELP!

You need a ny hut sticker or a single trip permit Highway use tax Now my first carrier didn’t have that and still does not have a hut account set up. I got a ticket for not having it (which I made him pay!!!!) but in his mind a $100 ticket every few years was better than the paperwork...

    TRANSIT WOES

That sounds exactly like what happens when the bcm does not detect the transponder key, I wouldn't change anything yet, since you unhooked the battery it erased the code but I bet if you would have checked there would have been a code set for it. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

    Freightliner M2 106

The carrier I was with previously bought several of those, the sleeper area isn't big but they are good for expedite as they are under 26k. They can still haul 10k so plenty of capacity plus with a small sleeper can still have a full 24ft box. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

    MONEY PIT.

So you took your truck in for brake work and they tell you the diff is bad? I think it's time for a second opinion. If you have not heard any noises coming from it, I doubt it's bad. I hate dishonest people. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

    TRANSIT WOES

200,000 miles on an electronic throttle body? As far as I'm concerned it served its purpose, don't complain about having to change it, no different than changing spark plugs, they wear out after so long. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums
