    Error!

Probably the latter one. Redis is an open source, in-memory data structure store, used as a database, cache and message broker. That error is due to a lack of disk space (unlikely on that server) or a lack of RAM memory (more likely). The IT dude needs to take a look at the running database...

I think so. Looks like 12 feet. I've seen that truck 3 times now. I just think it's really odd, and really kewl. :D

Do you want me to make you aware???

On their end, that's exactly what it means. In order to book you on a load, to prevent another dispatcher from simultaneously booking you on a different load, or from dispatching the same load (same PRO#) to another truck at the same time, they actually put you on the load. It's essentially...

    Does Panther reimburse EZ-Pass tolls?

Letting you sit for days after telling them you were looking at leaving has nothing to do with toll reimbursement. Please stay on topic. Thank you.

Kinda makes ya wonder what his conversations with dispatch are like, huh. :D

I think the non-compete agreement was for 3 years. It might have been five. I don't have that PDF anymore and can't remember for sure. I seriously doubt that Con-Way will ever get back into the expedited sector.

It used to be online under the Driver Council, but since the Web site revamp it's not there, nor are any of the meeting minutes. Maybe Sean will send it to ya. :D

Well, they do represent us, but they do not make decisions for us. If Panther wants to do something and the entire Driver Council is against it, the Driver Council's opinion carries zero weight. If the Driver Council brings up an idea for a change, no matter how great of an idea it might be, if...

Difference in Load Board Loads Per Day

To see which one is more accurate, do an 8 then a 32 and comparing it what it shows online. :) Online is real-time for number of trucks. Online is also up-to-date as of midnight (when they recalculate them) on the load counts. The macros are 24 hours old. Not sure about the difference...

I wrote an e-mail to Sean the other day asking to go back to the old boards. Maybe if we all sent him e-mails, it'll get their attention.

Well, if you refuse 1 in 4 you are at the 75% mark so you're OK. You can't turn down more than that, tho. If you're offered 5 loads a week and turn down one per week, that's 20 in a month with 16 accepted, which puts you at 80%. But as I said earlier in this and several other threads, a lot...

    Panther Rewards Program

The 95% will fall off, but the ding will still count over the course of 6 months. So after the 6 months, if you ran 80 loads and delivered 79 on time, then you would be at 98.75% and would fall below the "at least 99% on-time service" for qualification. You'll need 100 loads and no more than a...

    Panther Rewards Program

Did you not read that? :D It's a reachable goal for solo everybody, really, but it all depends on how many loads they offer you and the length of line haul for those loads. I'd much rather meet the Gold level for miles than with the number of loads.

    Panther Rewards Program

I'll reserve my comments for later. Seems to a a lot of gotcha's in there that Panther controls more than the drivers do. Look at miles divided by number of loads for each level and see the average length of each load required. Look at Miles divided by 26 weeks to get average miles per week...

A storm took 'em down over the weekend, knocked out power and messed up the computers and the network. I called in yesterday and someone, a real live person, answered the phone on the second ring. They answered, "Thank you for calling Panther. How may I help you?" That's just wrong. I was so...

At the point where you think like an employee. When they did the 67% thing I wasn't really happy about it, but as it turns out the prospect of falling below 67% only had an effect on one decision that I made since they started it, and that was an unusual situation where I had been off for 3...

No, I didn't get the message. It was apparently sent out in a fleet message a week or two ago, but it certainly should have gone out in an e-mail and been posted to the Website. Because of how it is calculated, it should have gone out prior to June 1, actually, since decisions made in June based...
