    1099 vs. W-2

    Keep a seperate file for each driver. Copies of everything owed goes into their folders. I wouldn't go the W-2 route unless you're planning on them being employees. A 1099 is easy to figure out, and the correct form for independant contractors anyways.

    Hi Frank, How would the deductions go if I'm buying equipment with owner financing? My current truck is owned by someone still paying it off. I'm assuming I can't deduct that one cause he is. The second truck is owned outright. Thanx T-Hawk
