Coronavirus disrupts freight, price of oil; U.S. impacts could be ‘substantial’

I’ll put it like this. Joe Blow wants to save a few bucks on a shipment of cheap products, yea, I get it. But you put a $10k+ piece of equipment on a vehicle, knowing that the driver doesn’t speak English, suspecting they’re not legal, you have to be nuts. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

    The Current State of Expediting

I’m definitely sold on being a 65mph guy. My motor is running smooth and easy, and traffic is a lot easier to handle. Instead of someone matching my speed at 68/69 and having to accelerate or decelerate from that point, it’s actually quite easy to speed up the few mph to 68/69 where I’m still...

    The Current State of Expediting

I was kind of surprised at the responses of this thread. So I’ve slowed it down a “little” bit more to 65mph. I’ve seen an average +2mpg. Those few mph made a pretty big difference. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

I was born and raised in Arkansas, and now live in the St Louis area. We’re jerks around here, lol. So, no home town bias, I promise. Yea, the lack of minorities in the heavily “liberal” northwest states is quite the oxymoron. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

As far as nicest, I’d say Oregon. On the average, people are more laid back, self confident, and open to friendly conversations. As far as the environment, if the media wasn’t spewing this half religion, world will end in 12 years global warming crap, people could have an adult conversation...

My loads are set at 47mph, but I didn’t think I was pushing the van at 68mph. I average at the 20mpg range. Whatever the speed limit is, I keep it 1 or 2 below that, unless the speed limit is above 70, I never go over 68ish mph. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

This I believe is the age old argument of economics, imo. Is it too much government influence, or not enough government influence? I believe the former, over-regulation creates monopolies. Monopolies kill jobs. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums
