Ok. Really ? I'd be real interested in hearing more about that ... although realistically I don't expect to. One always has a choice. LOL ... Josh, I spend most of my time on another (non-expediting) forum site these days - it's run on vBulletin software - that makes EO pale in comparison...

If I had worded it any more appropriately it wouldn't have made it past EO's internal censor ... and probably would have gotten me me banned ...

Preference to have titles retrieved for links. Ability to or hide show Vbulletin code tags in the edit window ... and still have the toolbar available. Should have said new format (not features) Linking is flakey ... the link often winds up at the beginning of the edit window, in front of...

Whoever is primarily responsible for cooking up the clusterflop that is the new "redesign" of EO needs taken out back behind the woodshed and thoroughly spanked ... It may be cute "eye candy" to some (who likely don't know any better) but when you remove features that people use on a regular...

Well, since it's so easy to program for as compared to the iPhone (at least according to some who probably aren't coders) I'm sure it will be a snap to fix ... :rolleyes: ;)

BTW, I completely concur with Jim - it is entirely refreshing to see a company principal on EO and making themselves available to the great unwashed masses .... J.E. is a credit to his position and profession for doing so.

Don't hold your breath ..... being a privately-held company, I rather doubt that a frank, detailed, and open public discussion of EO's business model is anything that the big guy is looking to have happen (which is entirely understandable IMO) .... hence the following suggestion: "Please share...

I dunno ...... your turn .... perhaps if you aren't totally fixated on the whiney liberal thing, you can come up with something both new and original ?

By the way, my last message was sent using old WYSE keyboard and monitor (dumb terminal) from a Digital PDP-11 (....... AS THOUGH ANYONE WOULD FRICKIN' CARE .....)

Not exactly entirely accurate in all cases I suspect (possibly not even in the majority of them) ..... in that EO is probably the one actually actually developing the content .... and certainly the one implementing it within the context of the website ..... The only other two options I'm aware...

You may wish to consider adjusting the dosage of whatever it is that you're taking ...... I propose a reduction .... but if that doesn't get it, well hey - go for broke and crank 'er up ...... :rolleyes:

I guess I don't understand - if I don't plan on ever clicking on any ads on EO, what would be the difference whether I blocked them or not ? Additionally, most of the original content here on EO - at least most of the content that I look at - are member contributions that are supplied gratis...
