How do you know that?

I have a Chinese knock off! Only thing wrong with it is the user error installation! Been using it for about a year, buddy of mine has had his for over 2 years.

No the wire in the original thread I was talking about is not the glow plug wire. It's the wire FlyingVan was talking about (I'm 99% sure) Will definitely check, thank you.

Will try and do this. If anything I'll just get another glow plug.

Okay so 1E90 means "Glow plug broken circuit" so that would mean the loose wire is the problem, or should be the problem.

It's a Chinese brand AKA no name, luckily I still have the invoice so I spoke with the manufacturer and he said the 1E30 code means low voltage, still waiting to here about the other error code. Perfect, I'll try this after I get a another battery. I have a manual but it's not much help...

Mine is a 20 amp fuse I replaced but no luck!

I removed power from it and I'll be trying to power it up in a few hours when I stop to grab some food. The thread you linked pretty much says glow plug and I should invest in a new heater [emoji19]. Thanks for the help.

Just checked the fuse, not it. I'll try to see if there is a reset button, if not I'll just disconnect it for a few hours while I drive.

According to my 2015 sprinter maintence booklet I should be refilling my DEF every 20k, what do you guys think about that? I top off my DEF every 1.5-2k miles and that's been good for me. Should I change do what the maintence booklet says or keep doing it my way?

You know I bought brand new. You're kinda over exaggerating on a payment if you're talking 60 months even with interest. A buddy of mine has a 160k miles 2015 sprinter only thing he had to change was the ac compressor so far. No other problems have risen.

It's for a buddy of mine, I told him it could be the battery he took it to the mechanic and he said it could be bad diesel so he changed out the fuel filter and drained the diesel. Now it happens every once in a while otherwise it's a smooth start. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums
