Changing the shocks on a truck

Directional tires are only directional for about the first 50K miles, after that there really is no need to flip them to keep same direction.

I got 335K on Goodyear G572 drives. Took them off with 13/32 tread left on them. (A little edge wear, but good tread) . Replaced with Bridgestone M710 drives. Been wearing well so far. Single axle straight truck.

Big Truck Class 8 vs class 7 pros and cons !

Also, the truck you need will vary depending on the carrier you choose and type of freight said carrier has available dobyou. A reefer and liftgate are not ideal if you are going to haul auto parts. And a reefer alone can keep some shippers from loading you. Consider what you will haul before...

    Frieghtliner service bulletin

Yep. For me it was happenstance. Went in for some parts and was just talking to the manager and found out. By the way, that filter looked bad coming out and it wasn't even due for replacement by the Freightliner service schedule.

20 or 22ft Box for Straight Trucks?

Width is also a factor. A 102" vs 96" . With a 102 you can turn skids and get more on the floor.

Max box size on 295 wheelbase

That is the weight rating of the axle not the actual weight of the axle.

Max box size on 295 wheelbase

    The OP stated it was 295" wheelbase. Personally, I have a 2015 Cascadia 113" ( not 125") w/ a 72" sleeper and 22 ft box. My wheelbase is 279".

Max box size on 295 wheelbase

xmudman , 125" and 113" BBC are daycab measurements, then you have to add whichever sleep size you get, if one is included.

Max box size on 295 wheelbase

125" BBC + 72" sleeper =197" (16.4 ft) Max straight truck length 480" ( 40 ft) 480 - ( 197 +3) = 280(23.3 ft box) Don't forget to add a few of inches for the gap between the sleeper and box. There is also a 113" BBC Cascadia model, which could allow for a 24 ft box, instead of 22-23 ft.

Max box size on 295 wheelbase

Wheelbase is not necessarily the issue. Most states have a 40 ft. max length for straight trucks.

Max box size on 295 wheelbase

What is BBC measurement? Bumper to Back of Cab + sleeper + box = not to exceed 40 ft (480 inches )
