Yes Sir, I leased a day cab straight truck through Penske $1400 base and 7.5 cents a mile(which covered all maintenance) I only bought gas. All fine and dandy when I was busy, but slowdowns and the economy took it's toll. If I had to do it again I would drive for an owner or look into...

Leasing sounds great, but the miles aren't guaranteed. Ask me how I know :(

Penske or Ryder will do a full service lease, but due to the amount of miles you will drive it won't be cheap Driving for an owner is probably the best idea to make sure this is what you want to do, good luck on the search!!!

Actually it's less then 70 probably closer to 50 10 hours a day for 5 days and then a 34 hour reset figure a max of 450 miles a day

If I got back in the business, I'd pick a van anyday over a straight truck....Unless I had one of those high dollar sleepers with the kitchen and shower/toilet etc AKA Motorhome

You also have to take into account a solo straight is limited in the miles they can run per day due to logging. And FSC doesn't even come close to offsetting fuel costs Posted with my Droid EO Forum App
