    First month in the books.

Well I have my first month of expediting in the books. 12,502 miles(also had 4 days home time last weekend), 1 break down, 1 winter storm, and umteen days of below freezing temps. But am I mad? Nope, it was exactly what I expected. To be honest the most annoying part to me is staying warm...

    IdleAir

Anyone ever hooked up to IdleAir in a Sprinter? Does it work? What about the plastic window piece, is it a separate purchase when you use Idleair for first time and then you keep it, or what? May possibly have a job as a sprinter driver at a local company. This will be my first time going OTR. What should I bring? I know the obvious ones like underwear and toothbrush, LOL. But what are some items that you wished you had brought, and ended up purchasing on the road?

Newbie with a question reguarding pay

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I am a brand new driver with an iffy driving record. I found a very small expediting company in Michigan(10 sprinters, 2 straight trucks) that is willing to give me a try. They are offering 28 cents per mile, with them covering all expenses...
