I recently put a cruise control on a 2003 chevy 6.0. I think thew cost was 249 0r 349 brand new at a custom shop in Akron Ohio. It works great and had a 2 year warranty. Work was completed in just a few hours.:) :)

Yes the espar is great but Espar of Michigan is terrible about calling you back if there is a problem. You can't always be near their shop. I have ordered products and they are slow (over 3 months to ship). If Kathy tells you Ray will call you back, well lets just say I have been waiting over...

Alot of us are asking ourselves the same question. This used to be a very profitable business. It is hard to leave. You have to realize that alot of us are at the age where many companies are leary about hiring us. We hang on in the hopes that things will get better. They do for awhile...

No bashing wanted, Just information please. Has the Cleveland market dried up for all cargo vans. Not interested in bashing any company, just trying to get a pulse on things. My company is only getting 1 or 2 runs a day. Is it better for anyone else??

It all depends on the company you are with. Vans are averaging 50% with several companies.

There in lies the problem with this industry. You are taking a straight truck load at van rate. That in turns drives down the rate for straight trucks. In return it drives down the rate for vans. It is time to get paid for the freight we are hauling. Too many people are doing just exactly...

If you had come to this site afew years ago The outcome of your search may have been different. But I have to agree with you. The profit in this business has deteriorated. There just is no profit left anymore. I applaud your research and honesty. Good luck in future endeavors.
