The turbos on these things don't last forever. If you spin the turbo, and put a bit of sideways pressure on the shaft, a worn turbo will bind a little, or even seize. I'd check this, and I'd be very critical of what I find. Do NOT waste your time getting it rebuilt. Get a new one from a Hino...

The best answer I can give you is 'I don't know'. It sure looks like it presses apart, but there were no twin rear axle Hinos sold in the US (that I'm aware of), and no one I know can say definitively. Sorry, and good luck.

Excessive idling will definitely affect all of them, that's for sure.
