Landstar does have loads out west for both Teams and Singles, I just checked there are 5 trucks in CA 3 teams with loads and 1 single headed to Vegas. We have several agents out there that get loads and keep people movin, at least they keep us movin out there.

One more thing wherever you stay, when you get to the strip pay the 5 or 6 bucks for the Duece, double decker public bus system. The pass is good for 24 hours and goes from Mandalay to Fremont street. And drink plenty of water.
