Read the posts. Rates are garbage, and freight is low.....base your estimates at the max of 5K gross a month in this market (when freight picks back up).

Well, they are treated like UPS/FEDEX step vans.....so probably not worth much.

TST is just a cross dock for Canada. Used to drop loads there for Canada quite a bit.

There's a job posting section on this site, if that doesn't work, make up a list of major carriers, call them to inquire. Most if not all will have fleet owners they can put you in touch with, looking for drivers.

Nah man. You got this.... You owned a corporation for over 25 years. There's not anything that any of us individuals who have decades of experience combined between us can tell you that is beneficial. Go ahead, make your big purchase, and jump in feet first. :)

Do you have experience? If not, your best bet is to start out driving for a fleet owner. 6 months to a year....then consider being an owner operator contracted with a carrier.

Ragman is right......throwing yourself in the deep end doesn't make you a good swimmer in expedite. Drive for a fleet owner and learn the business before making such a big step.

There wasn't many miles last year either...... Rates significantly went into the toilet. It's only gotten worse this year. A lot of former expedite vans on auction sites, and dealership used car lots.
