I agree. No reason to have to put up with such treatment. If the fleet owner condones such activity, I would certainly question whether or not I would want to work for such an owner. Actually, no I wouldn't question it, I wouldn't be working for that fleet owner.

So, we've only told a couple of people, outside of this forum and You Tube, about our plans on becoming Expediters. We are having a family pizza and pool party this Sunday and will inform everyone at that time of our plans. I haven't put in my retirement notice yet, that will be coming as soon...

Received our TWIC cards in the mail today, wow, that was quick!

We will be checking into it. Sounds like it could be especially challenging to coordinate the interview if we are on the road. Somehow we'll work it out though.

Third time was a charm with TSA. Got our TWIC card appointments completed. The agent said about 30 days to get our cards, we'll see. Don't know if Carrie will be able to get her hazmat and tanker testing done this week due to the holiday but, if not, I'm sure she'll get it done next week...

We have downsized considerably in preparation for our new expediting career. Still purging thru stuff. Amazing how much stuff you accumulate over the years.

TWIC appointments on Tuesday. Carrie has an appointment to take care of her passport application tomorrow. We have both received our background check letters from TSA, now to schedule Hazmat and Tanker endorsement tests. I have received my passport and passport card. One step at a time...
