Thats why I love Load One, and the simplicity of being leased onto them. They couldn't make it any easier, with as few deductions as possible, with so many money saving features for the driver. In all honesty, it is the easiest company to make money at. There are companies out there who not...

It seems as if the newer diesels run as clean as cars, so in light of this, I dont see diesels going away anytime soon.

    Questions regarding Straight Truck business

Primary insurance if you have you're own authority. If you akready are planning on using factoring services to get paid, I think you are destined to fail right from the get go. Load board freight is usually cheap scraps that the bigger companies cant cover, or get rid of. Not all, but many. When...

Oh yea, I hear ya. It makes me laugh when someone comes up to me, and the standard questions come out of their mouths, such as, "are ya making any money??", and/or, "how many miles are you getting???"....lmao.. I look at the money I make, which had better be a much bigger number than the total...

I absolutely agree. I did my time being super stupid trucker running coast to coast non stop. One that sticks in my mind, and leaves me shaking my head as to why I was that stupid, was Whittakers, N.C., to Hayward, Ca. Slept 5 hours after unloading to get another load 13 miles south of Hayward...

I absolutely love 300 miler and less runs. Id rather run those than a Detroit to Laredo, for example. I have my reasons and belifs that I wont comment on why I feel this way.

Do the hazmat loads pay more than standard loads, as they should, given the extra care and risk hauling that?? Back in the day, they used to pay pretty good. I was on a dedicated for Landstar from Ashland Chemical in Cleveland to South Carolina. Had to run those 200% legal, logging safety...

Me and my bowels completely agree. When I check into a campground, 3 requirements must be met:::: close to the shower house, shaded, and bathroom. The morning duck walk must be kept to a minimum, with minimal stops along the way to regroup. There was a story about OVM and the consequences of...

Slow, too many vans, (oversaturation), and too many running loads for welfare rates.

Id rather be in Nashville than Birmingham anyday. But each companies strong areas are different based on their customer base, if they have any customers. Load board companies? It can be a crapshoot than.

Screw that. I enjoy my 18 bucks a week for full coverage through Load One. I never understood why many prefer to pay so much for primary insurance only to haul cheap rate freight. It doesn't add up. Work smarter, not harder. I heard from a very reliable and trustworthy source that a...

    Noob Tire Rotation

I carry a telescoping hydraulic jack. Short, but has alot of height when all 3 sections are extended. The shortness of the jack body makes it easy to get under the front I-beam, or rear axle, when the tire is flat.

Oh, I completely agree and guarandamtee you that is currently happening. There is no loyalty or dedication in this business anymore. All companies care about is the bottom dollar.
