Easy way to take off signs?

And thanks, all, for the replies. Probably should have asked what people thought was the easiest way, instead of a easy way. And mentioned without paying someone :)

Easy way to take off signs?

Lol! The way I've been feeling about them lately, should only take me a hour :)

    Expedite Solo in a Hino??

Paladin, there isn't any magic, or secrecy, but it does take a while to get used to the lifestyle, and how expediting works. As for what to drive, that's your choice. I drive a ST solo, signed on with FedEx. Even on a slow week, I make a decent pay, enough that I'm buying the truck from the...

    Load 1 ST staying busy?

Their card gives u a shower credit, when your total purchase is 50 gallons in a 5 day period. Their Expediter card does, not their regular one. Guess i thought u guys would use 50 gallons every cpl or 3 days, so would get a shower credit each time you did.

    We are expediters

How 'bout "Lunatic Fringe", by Golden Earring? Know we could get the word expediter into that song somewhere :)

    Load 1 ST staying busy?

How so, OVM? I would think their Expediter version of their UltraOne card would make it way easier for u van drivers, not being able to put 50 gallons in at a time. Just wondering.

Easy way to take off signs?

Just wondering if anyone has found a easy way to take the sign graphics off a truck? May try doing it myself, vs. paying someone. Thanks.

    Load 1 ST staying busy?

ps: The Wifi service at TA and Petros are better than Pilots, and i pay for it with my card points :)

    Load 1 ST staying busy?

True, Cheri, but no discount unless you use the fuel card, right? I usually don't park at any truck stop, if I can help it, so that's not a issue. But I do use the TA and Petro service depts. quite often, so easier if I'm not having to go from one to another. And the shower credits stay on...

    Expedite Solo in a Hino??

Not buying the truck, you don't have to worry bout maint., but, if it has lots of issues, you could do a lot of sitting while work is being done on it. So the quality would still affect you. And no runs over 400 miles? even over a weekend? Fedex has a 500 mile limit rule for solos, but it's...

    Load 1 ST staying busy?

Cheri, thanks for the reply. Like the idea of the 'small' town' culture, as you put it. Being based in the SE, having a place to consider a 'home base', in MI, may be a bit far from ideal, but no company is a perfect fit. But so far, Load 1 and LS seem to be the ones. Only negative point I've...

    Load 1 ST staying busy?

No, FV, thank you for replying. Just was a bad day, guess it caught me the wrong way. know your intentions were helpful. My apologies, and thanks again.

    Load 1 ST staying busy?

John, thanks for the reply, was planning to call Brian, but thought I'd see if I could get some feedback from drivers. Bruno, it will be a straight truck, not a van or sprinter. Pellgrn, have been following Ateam's postings, and blog. Also, a ex driver for the owner I'm currently driving for...

    Load 1 ST staying busy?

Sorry, if it came across as defensive, wasn't meant to (a non beauty of the 'net). Just am always curious as to why ppl post things, but don't answer the actual question.

    Load 1 ST staying busy?

To answer your question, yes. Did expediting in the late 90's, flatbed trucking for several years, and back to expediting a little over a year ago? Drive a ST for a local owner, currently with FedEx CC white glove. Just curious, however, why ask that? Do you drive a ST for Load 1? My...

    How's it Going at Landstar?

The 'cheap freight' issue comes not from "newbies", and not from expediting. It's veteran O/Ops that have the biggest issue with it, who have seen rates stagnate, or drop, over the years. In '96, flat rate for a D unit with Tri State was $1.25 per mile, all miles of load. Now, ppl think they...

    How's it Going at Landstar?

Just observation note, I've been shopping trucks for about a month now, to compare what the owner wants for the truck I'm driving. Been bookmarking and saving the info on any trucks that interested me. Yes, there are LS trucks in the classifieds, as well as listed in The Truck Paper and other...

Am just wondering. Choice is down to between Load 1 and Landstar. Thanks.

    new road atlas

Just a note, someone mentioned MS Streets and Trips. There is a overlay for it from Truck Stops Plus Welcome to Truck Stops Plus It's $40., u get it downloaded. It installs over S&T, shows all truckstops, walmarts, truck washes, etc. Has a host of other features. More useful to straight...

    Load 1's Greer SC location?

All, thanks for the replies. John, thanks for the update. For Moose, not sure, as I do pretty well, running the SE and mid Atlantic area, and OVM, must have missed that turn, never been to Taylor :)
