    Ram Promaster Heat

....and replace the meds if you can. Some of them are heat sensitive, and if you melted the bottles, you certainly could have changed the composition of those meds. Consult with your doctor and/or pharmacist. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

    Cargo Van GMC van maintenance

That’s one advantage to buying from Penske; I have maintenance records going back three years on it. Only entries on that record are PM’s done on it. Hopefully soon I can get a transmission service done on it; the van shifts fine and the fluid doesn’t smell, but it isn’t nice and red like it...

    Cargo Van GMC van maintenance

My New Yeller (2015 GMC 12’ srw cube) is the first GM truck I’ve ever owned. Except for my wife’s Buick, we haven’t bought the General’s products since the crappy ones in the 80s. So, I need some tips and tricks on how to keep this van’s 4.8 happy and healthy, as well as the rest of the truck...

    Cargo Van New Yeller

Decided to try one of these to replace the late Promaster. I didn’t quite have the stones to go for another brand new van. Should be able to hit the road with it the first week of December. Big question is how to kit it out, especially the bed. As a team, we need more room than a single driver...

    Chevy Express Spartan

My experience with the old yellow van was that on E85 it got about 70-75% of what it would get on unleaded; this means you should only pay 70% of the price of unleaded. For example, if unleaded is $2.69, you should pay $1.87 for E85. I would run a tank of E85 through Old Yeller every 80k or...

    Chevy Express Spartan

NEVER let the transmission hunt! Ya might lose 1 mpg downshifting and letting the engine rev a bit higher (say 3000 on a gasser), but your trans will tolerate that much better than constant shifting. An automatic transmission’s worst enemy is heat, and hunting causes heat to build up in a hurry...

In Persuit Of The PERFECT Van Bed Set Up

Actually, I’ve heard it was 8000[emoji50] Either one is some next level perseverance, tho![emoji41] Another good story of perseverance is Harlan Sanders. Forty years of struggle in hardscrabble Corbin, KY. At the end of it all, little to show for all of his work. Took one last shot with part...

//// Which truck for long distance work ? ////

A uhaul or similar truck, with your own stuff, with a rental contract, is a personal conveyance. If you get paid to haul someone else’s stuff, you’re a commercial operator. I’ll let smarter people than me address the air brake issue. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

Chevy express 2008 correct tire pressure?

Everyone else has said the same thing I would tell you: DANGER- WRONG TIRES. REPLACE THEM FORTHWITH, posthaste and/or immediately. You were sold the wrong tires for your application; the sticker on the door will tell you which tires you need, and that’s what you need to go by. When you go back...

    Loving the E85 fuel option!

If your vehicle supports it, and the price difference is substantial enough to cover the lower fuel economy, then why not use it? As for me now, the Promaster insists on regular E10 gas.... Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

    Loving the E85 fuel option!

My yellow van ran on e85. Problem: lower fuel economy (13 vs 17). I ran a tankful once a year to keep the fuel lines clean. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

    DOT Vehicle Inspections

Nice thing is, if I'm not mistaken, the DOT will accept a state inspection in lieu of theirs, as long as the state's standards are as strict as their own. Works well for us Pennsy folks, 'cos our inspections are among the most thorough in the country [emoji19]
