Nope. We have a problem with the hubris of demanding we let them in, just because they want in. Several in the group have already been deported from the US multiple times and say they will enter illegally because they know they can't get granted asylum.
Several in the group the other day filed a lawsuit against Trump for denying them their constitutional rights to apply for asylum. Let that one sink in for a bit.
Would rather see current U.S. citizens fill those jobs. Sorry, but they have first dibs. And if they can't hire enough workers to do those cheap labor jobs, they'll just have to bite the bullet so to speak and raise those wages. The way capitalism in this country ought to work instead of farming in people to do very cheap labor.

At 3.7% unemployment the governments own numbers they consider this country at full employment...IF the President is going to create even more jobs...They will need even more people...especially at the rate the baby boomers are retiring..
But you have young people entering the work force after they get out of highschool and college. There's also the millions of people who had previously stopped looking for a job due to the lack of jobs because of the low economic growth rate. They weren't counted in the unemployment rate. But you also have people who couldn't work previously due to taking care of a loved one or physically unable to work. In my limited opinion , migrants have been good news for this country. Some are bad news no matter what or where they move.
