The Canadian donut chain opened one location earlier this year and promised four more by early summer.

The first one never took off so for now they’re giving up on Indy.

They have 8 or 10 more in Indiana. Mostly around Fort Wayne.

Probably just the local franchisee having financial problems. You'll see a place that does solid business go under, and later find out the owner was losing money at other businesses and couldn't find a buyer for his one profitable restaurant in time. My home town had an Old Country Buffet like that. Always people in there. Space got made into a Buffalo Wild Wings after they suddenly closed.

Sounds like the same story when Krispy Kreme came to Chicago. Opened 8 stores in the area and after several years, they all closed up except for one in Rosemont by O’Hare airport.
