Hi Terry,
We’re currently looking to put one on with FCC and I’m just searching for any addition information that could be of help considering I’ve been out of expediting since 2000, and back then I ran a DR & ER.
FYI, my sourcing specialist has supplied me with all the 2017-2018 income...
I'm looking to purchase a new DR unit and just recently looked at a Freightliner Cascadia at FYDA Columbus and was wondering is anyone could tell me how these trucks ride and drive.
Well I'm from the Roberts Express days when we actually made money, I've been looking around and no one company is jumping out to be any better opportunity than the others.
Of course everyone (Recruiters) that is sell their company up to be the best thing since sliced bread.
How do solos survive in the expedited world after investing in a $150,000 in a D unit when a lot of OTR jobs pay $65,000 a year with health insurance and retirement?
Haven't really decided what to do at this time, going to check out the various carriers and truck prices and take it from there.
Would like to get into a D unit bit might get a E for versatility of brokering loads.
Well I've been out of things since 2002, used to have 1 D, 1 DR and one E unit, all with FCC WG.
Things were great back in the Roberts Express days but seemed to go down hill somewhat after the FCC acquisition.
Looking to possibly venture back into expediting again but I don't know how much...
