thanks for the help, would it be cheaper to change out the MBE and replace it with a Cat or Cummins?

Would any of you fleet owner be able to tell me what it cost to rebuild the MBE 900 engine. I'm looking at purchasing an 07 truck with that eng. and was wondering how much money I should have in the reserve funds. The truck has 400k+ now and I'm guessing that it will need to be rebuilt soon...

Is there a company out there that is better for Solo drivers? I've drove a straight truck (D unit) for FXcc as a Solo, but I feel that maybe LandStar might have more oportunites/loads for solo straight truck D unit??? RT

The price of diesel is an outrage. It cost LESS then gas to refine. The only reason the industry doesn't protest like in the 70's is because the large companies don't pay the price at the pump like an O/O...again very sad for again small business person trying to make it today.:confused:

Hi guys, new to expediting, I know Florida base O/O is a hard run to get back home. Is there one Expedting company over another that might have more FL runs...FedEx over LandStar??? Thanks for your time Rich
