Will such set up attract attention of DOT?

Don't worry people, I am really not competing with any of you here... I have a different niche. brokcanadian, let me educate you a bit here. Only GVWR matter from the legal standpoint. Truck and trailer each have their own brakes rated for their respective GVWR. So as long as you don't overload...

Will such set up attract attention of DOT?

Question for all - Why do you believe the bus and trailer shown on picture to be unsafe? Is it too much trailer for the truck? Besides the potential DOT fines, what exactly do you all mean when you say "safety"?

danthewolf00, first, for some reason you wrongfully assumed that I do not strap loads inside. Of course I do and I do it safely. Put a nick on that mid-century chest and you just hauled it for free... Second - I do not transport heavy low paying things like rolls of steel, machinery, vehicles...

Trailer is 32' former toy hauler which has been gutted for more room, and added rub rails. Bus has no seats, just a small...

OKay, I guess I am new to expediting but may be not. I have done this uShip thing running cross-country for over a year with my pick up. The money was good, but only because I worked 16 hour days for 2 weeks in a row, like a robot with no rest. I no longer want to be away from my wife and kids...
