So I picked up my truck today. My mechanic has changed thermostats. He looked over a bunch of things and pressure tested the heui pump and the pump itself runs perfectly fine.
I'll be honest. My mechanic is great and solid for things that don't involve electrics and a laptop. As much as he can...
Thanks guys for all the help. I'm taking my truck to my mechanic today and we will see what he says.
As to my truck running hot....it doesn't. I actually got the thermostats because it has been running unusually cool, and cools down quicker than it used to.
I will keep you posted
The reason I was leaning towards un burnt fuel is because of the harness my mechanic mentioned to me. I am going to start from there along with replacing thermostats because it's been running a bit cold
Ive had all the sleeves replaced 2 years ago. It's happened to me before when one of them was leaking and i got diesel in the antifreeze. Not the case here. Thanks tho
I've had my truck for a couple of years. Usually after idle when I would start to drive it it would give me quite a lot of white smoke on a first 2-3 take offs from stand still.
Lately I have noticed the truck has a bit of a struggle getting off the line and also when going lets say in a 3rd...
I do understand safety concernes. I have actually installed temporary LED lights cuz I would never drive with no tail lights. It's dangerous. The temp lights are not as big but very visible on top of the fact that I have 6 other lights on the back of the box around the doors so don't sweat it...
thanks, if i do happen to be going thru there I'll give him a buzz. As of right now it's a 50/50 chance cuz i'm still looking to get out of memphis hehe
So I've looked around some more. I have no idea what it might be. It's gotta be a wire somewhere but can't locate it. I'm not all that great at auto electrical work but I gave it a shot anyway lol
Local dealers are 2-3 days before they can take a look at it. Made a temporary/ghetto fix and hope...
So I've looked all over the place. Cleaned connectors etc etc. still no tail light nor license plate light. Anyone knows any place around Memphis I can take my truck to to take a look at it?!
I'm on the road. Noticed tail lights are out. It's a 2005 m2 106
Break lights and turning signals work but tail lights don't. Box markers etc are all working.
I checked the fuse box on the wheel well but there isn't even a fuse for lights. No burnt fuses
I started reading online about some...
Every now and then my ac stops blowing the right way and it happens because the heater core gets all iced up and frozen and doesn't let the air to flow thru. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and if there's any way to stop this from happening. Thanks
