    bad owner operator

I'm just a jerk that don't give a **** about grammer fetishes. My guess is that 99.9% of the adult population don't consider great grammer a skill they want to learn. Maybe you can find a nice grammer school blog you can post all your grammer stuff in.

Maybe the guy you're talking about is "an owner". The guy I'm talking about is "a owner".

    bad owner operator

It seems like every couple months a owner from Joliet runs a Ad. A couple weeks ago he was running one of those that stay up on top. I believe this is the same owner that says his trucks are signed on with Fedex. Claims to have his own authority to get more loads. I could be wrong. I didn't read...

    A newbie inquires

I'm feeling a little long winded tonight so I'll try to answer your questions as I see the answers. Many will see the answers differently. Where were you fishing at for three years? Off Navy Pier, Monroe St Harbor, or maybe the rocks at Montrose? Your questions all seem to apply to your choice...

ON CALL or ON TIME EXPEDITE? HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS MICHIGAN CO?

You also enquired about "ontime expedite". If you are referring to Ontime Express, they have a link on the home page of this site. I hauled many loads for them, and found them to be a fine carrier.

Does anyone, have any current info, about this owner? The "heads up", at the top of this thread, is two years old. The owner, does advertise for drivers, frequently, in the free classifieds. How do you like my commas?

    Gotta love them Fedex drivers.

Maybe he had a delivery down there.

    Fatigued Driving

Do you think the modern media has anything to do with facts, reality or actual news? I don't. It used to be, if you worked for the National Enquirer you were scorned. Now everyone wants to be the National Enquirer. It's all about hype, spin and BS. With Twitter, Face Book, spam, pop ups, pop...

    Sprinter year

The 2018 will be made in China and sold exclusivly at Walmart. There will not be actual repairs on this model. You'll just throw a after market part on it which will also be made in China and sold exclusivly at Walmart. The trucks will be manufactured by Frue Man Chu, a spin off of Fruehauf.

My Driver got in Accident, carrier most likely will release.... What to do next?

At 62000 miles in 5 months, she was averaging 2800 miles a week, every week, for 5 months. I'm guessing there was some driver fatigue here. If you could just go out and drive 400 miles a day it wouldn't be too bad, but, we all know it doesn't work like that. I have done 9400 in 3 weeks; then I...

    Cargo Van Freight Volume

Don't buy a cargo van. Get a Lear jet. Get in on the ground (air) floor. Wouldn't FMCSA have fun with that

<10,001 lbs . Does Your Carrier Require A Physical ?

The impression I have is; carriers that require owners of veichles <10001 to have their own insurance, do not require DOT physicals. These same carriers, generally do not require workmans comp (or similar) and do not have qualcom. However, some of them are creating telephone tracking and...

MP Logistics INC, St Charles IL

When we discuss CV insurance for independents, we're pretty much talking Progressive. I personally find it hard to believe that, with their army of accountants, Progressive ever charged a rate they couldn't make a profit on. Maybe they discovered they were in a position to charge whatever the...

MP Logistics INC, St Charles IL

I hauled many loads for MP Logistics. They pay .90 for CVs and .95 for Sprinters. I was always paid the right amount on time and would reccomend this Co. to anyone. Peter even got me $125 for a no load one time. Here is a problem I see in the future. This company, and others, don't pay, or...
