I am about to put a semi on with PantherII, are there any advantages to running with their plate, or am i better off running my own? I have this truck on a different fleet than my other 5 semi's, that are only plated for 4 states. Does it cost more to plate and run 48+Canada ?

You really shouldn't need to get your own authority if you are running for another carrier. I have my authority sitting in escrow, haven't used it yet. Good luck!
